This project has been designed with the intention of desalination and transfer of water from the coasts of Chabahar to the eastern provinces of the country (Sistan and Baluchestan, South Khorasan and Khazasan Razavi) in three general phases with a total volume of 750 million cubic meters per year. It must be noted that they will be implemented in accordance with the time requirements and examining the capacities and needs of the east of the country. Moreover, the mplementation of the initial phase of the project to meet the needs of the coast, including mining, steel and other industries in the region and part of the drinking water of Chabahar city with a volume of 100,000 cubic meters is on the agenda

Applicants to buy water

Water economics deals with how water is produced, distributed, and consumed. When water resources are scarce and access to them requires a high cost, its production, distribution, sale and purchase become exclusive and with added value, and on the other hand, the price of production and sale is affected by supply and demand.

It is worth saying that water is the backbone of many industries, regardless of domestic and agricultural uses. Although the amount of water consumption depends on the production process and the technologies used in the industrial units, without this vital substance, it would not be possible to create and maintain many industries. The following are examples of the importance of water in industry:
